MATSON INTERMODAL SYSTEMS ACQUIRES PARAGON TRANSPORTATION GROUP

   Matson Intermodal Programs, the intermodal advertising subsidiary of Matson Navigation Co., has bought Dublin, Calif.-based Paragon Transportation Workforce, which makes a speciality of intermodal rail and over-the-road services and products within the western United States.

   Paragon will grow to be Matson Intermodal – Paragon Inc., a subsidiary of Matson Intermodal Gadget.

   Joseph Kelly, who based Paragon in 1995 and has 16 years of transportation business enjoy, has been named vp and normal supervisor of Matson Intermodal – Paragon.

   Paragon employs 20, and has workplaces and customer support places in Nevada, Montana, Oklahoma and Michigan. The corporate has treated a spread of shipments together with California wines, canned meals, dried nuts, scrap metals, clothes, chemical compounds and paper merchandise.
